Since 1993 FACES has been providing HIV awareness and quality prevention services focusing primarily on communities of color.

FACES is a confidential service providing education and distribution supplies for people of all ages, cultures, and sexual orientations. The program provides access to HIV testing and follow-up support services such as:

Linkage & Navigation will provide individuals living with HIV or engaging in behaviors that put themselves at risk of HIV transmission to obtain timely, essential, and appropriate medical, prevention, and support services to optimize their health and prevent HIV transmission and acquisition.

J.E.W.E.L.S – Journey to Empowering Women through Everyday Life Situations: is a program that is dedicated to young ladies of color within the community. This program works with ladies who may be at high risk for contracting HIV/STI’s based on behavioral patterns. Ladies who may be exposed to trauma and feelings of hopelessness imposed at a young age by people, situations, and places now have someone they can trust and talk to as well as their peers to make necessary life changes. The program will work to help get young women on the right path to advocating for themselves and learning skills to keep them safe from sexually transmitted diseases. Services offered range from individualized sessions, group sessions, linkage, and referrals as well as Counseling Testing and Recruitment.

FACES is a New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute-funded program.
