Syracuse Community Connections works to address the need for food and diapers for families across our neighborhood. 

Food Pantry 

Offered the first and last Tuesday of the month, 10am – 1pm
IDs are needed for any individual receiving food in the household. 

Made possible through a collaboration with the Central New York Food Bank, the food pantry is an essential safety net service, providing low and moderate income residents in the 13202, 13204, 13205, and 13207 zip codes with food assistance. 

Diaper Bank 

Families are eligible to receive 50 diapers every 30 days for children 4 and under. Diaper Bank operates most Wednesdays, 10am – 2pm. Please contact (insert name) to sign-up. 

Fresh Food Giveaway 

Offered the third Friday of the month starting at 1pm.

Distribution is first-come, first-serve. Made possible through a collaboration with the Central New York Food Bank and started in 2020, the Fresh Food Giveaway provides an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, and other grains to local residents. Organic products are distributed to residents with nutritional needs requiring this type of food. The agency regularly schedules service providers to present information during the giveaway. 

Kid’s Case

Made possible through a collaboration with the Central New York Food Bank, this program provides the opportunity to serve a nutritious meal each day as part of the afterschool program. Meals are served in dinner style method and children are provided the opportunity to volunteer in program implementation.
